Forty Friendly Spiders is an original design by the ever-clever Karen Thompson. Born out of the 12-hour introduction to bobbin lace program, it teaches you 40 different variations of the Torchon Spider, Triangle Ground, Scandinavian Ground, Rose Ground, and Linen Stitch Heart.

We have two options for you - the single-width scarf or the double-width shawl. Both options are available in either a shipped paper pattern or digital download.

Scarf takes 1 skein of or Fresia Silk and requires 60 bobbins.

Shawl takes 1 skein of or 2 skeins of Fresia Silk and requires 108 bobbins.
